![]() |
Continuously-adjustable lamination speed up to 30 m/min (e.g. tape of 8 mm in width) due to high-efficiency NIR heating technology (high energy efficiency). |
![]() |
Controlled production process due to closed-loop technology with direct temperature sensing of the adhesive tape and the rubber profile by pyrometer with visible light spot. |
![]() |
Fully-automatic adjustment of process parameters in case of extrusion-speed variations (stable production process). |
|
Machine Design and Functional Description: |
|
![]() |
The basic machine consists of a stable, self-supporting welded steel construction on four locking lift rolls. This construction allows for flexible machine operation at different production sites. Connections for electrical equipment, pneumatic equipment and exhaustion are plug-in connections. Thus, installation and placing into operation at a different production site can be carried out within shortest time. |

The transport units for tape transport, profile transport, lamination system and heating units are modularly arranged on a base plate. Each unit can be individually adapted to different products (tape width, profile shape). |
![]() |
Profile transport is carried out by transport units, which are adapted to the profile shape. The exchange of these transport units can be carried out with a minimum need of tools within shortest time. Thus, extremely short set-up times for product change can be realized. |
![]() |
The adhesive tape is supplied to the product with constant and adjustable tape tension. The tape tension is controlled automatically by means of a traction-measuring unit. This is a condition for a stable tape-application process. |
![]() |
The lamination process is carried out with controlled stretch due to a synchronized speed control between the driven vacuum wheel and the driven counter roll in the transport unit (master slave). A proportional valve controls the contact pressure. Thus, tolerance variations of the profile can be compensated. |

The heating units are cooled by means of water circulation. |
![]() |
Arising gases are evacuated through exhaust ducts. |
|
Note: These components and modules are essential for a process-reliable processing of the tape, according to the parameters given by the tape manufacturer. |
